Attuner

An Attuner is a highly skilled person who has some degree of control over essence. People with the ability to manipulate essence aren't rare, but being able to do this on a level that keeps it stable requires a lot of training, which takes many years.

Attuners are unique in that they do not need imprints to transform someone and keep it stable, however, it does require a lot of energy from them. Too many changes in a short period, or a lot of changes may cause someone to feel mentally exhausted and need to rest.

In cases of Imprint Break or Imprint Drift, an Attuner may need others to assist them to restore them to their original form or help mend their mind if it's not too far gone.

Attuners are often part of the region's guild, though not always formally ranked. Some act as freelance healers, drift-responders, or advisors on imprint safety.
